As a massage therapist, a huge portion of my work and income came from the fact that people have live with chronic pain. As a massage therapist, I could, of course, never promise relief from pain or fixing it permanently. As a Young Living Brand Partner, I have to be really careful about this as well. The truth is, even the the most skilled surgeon cannot honestly promise relief from pain. Which brings up an interesting recollection. I worked with dozens of people who went for the surgery to fix the pain, who even with faithful post-surgery PT, exercises and massage, they were still dealing with pain months later.
I have a fun little story about a client who was on many prescription pain medications. I'd been giving him weekly massages for at least 5 years when I trained in the Rain Drop Technique. As part of my certification, I asked him if he would be willing to try a Rain Drop Session and fill out a review for my instructor. He agreed.
If you don't know about Rain Drop Technique, it is an application of 8 essential oils to the spinal reflex points on the foot and dropped 6 inches above the body over the spine and then "massaged" in with feather strokes.
After the session, he said we felt great, filled out my paperwork and rebooked for a regular massage the next week. When he came back in the reported:
- Better Sleep
- Less Pain
- More Mobility / Range-of-Motion
- and instructions from his wife to get a weekly Rain Drop.
The Fact That You're Still Reading This Means You Probably Want Results Like His Too
Who wouldn't want those results? That's HUGE! Here is the great news: not only do I offer Rain Drops here in the Phoenix Area, but you have the power to create similar results for yourself by regularly using your essential oils and oil-infused supplements.
However, it doesn't come with being conservative with your application of the essential oils. The Rain Drop uses a lot of essential oils, it's true. So many drops. But this is why it can create powerful results. Lots of us, fall into the habit of not using our oils enough. This is why it's important to create routines with your products so you can build habits that give desired results.
Yeah, it's easy to reach for an over-the-counter pain medication, and yes sometimes we can even get prescription-level pain relief: but these all come with risks. The stated effects of long-term use of ibuprofen include:
- impaired hearing
- kidney and liver damage
- bleeding in the stomach and bowels
- anemia due to bleeding in the stomach
- increased risk of heart attack.
So if you agree, let's get serious about using the powerful oils and supplements available to us. Commit to a higher PV level on your orders, I'm encouraging you to double your monthly spending if you're under 100. Not because I want more sales, but because I want you to get results--safely. Plus, you'll enjoy the opportunity to try new products for free when you spend 100PV, 200PV and 300PV.
Here are my favorite switches on the topic of pain:
Instead of reaching for ibuprofen when I have a tension headache, I reach for AgilEase
Instead of reaching for something like biofreeze or tiger balm, I reach for my Deep Relief Roller
Let me know if you are interested in more information on using your essential oils to get close to a pain-free life.
Bucking the status quo,
